Get started
- Meet Prodrafts: Explore the library and choose from four note types.
- Create your first note: Create a Paged note and try writing, erasing, undoing, and reopening it.
- Create and organize folders: Name your practice note and organize it in the library.
Choose a note type

Imported PDFs and notebooks created from blank paper both use Paged notes. Canvas text boxes, tables, and formulas have their own guides. In Text documents, these elements flow with the body text; use the Text document guides for them.

Use the help center
If you are new to Prodrafts, begin with Getting Started. For a specific issue, use the sidebar or Search help at the top. On a narrow phone screen, tap the menu to expand the categories. Try searching for “tape,” “merge recordings,” “formula,” or “restore.”
Each article explains where a feature is available, how to use it, what to expect, and common questions. Check which note types and devices the article covers, then follow the steps. Differences in menus, system support, devices, or membership are explained alongside the feature. Before clearing, deleting, merging, or changing sync settings, read what content the action affects.
Solve common problems
- Missing a note? Try Name search and favorites, Restore from Trash, or Recover documents missing from the list.
- Looking for a word? Use PDF search, Canvas search, or Find and replace in text.
- Want to refine a hand-drawn shape and keep editing or connecting it? See Perfect Shape and snapping.
- Need an editable copy? See Export native documents and Create and save a backup.
- Want to back up documents automatically to cloud storage or a NAS? See Automatic Backup settings, status, and recovery.
