Manage notes

When you have more notes, first create easy-to-understand categories and then organize them as needed. Folders can hold different types of documents without having to create a separate directory for each editor.

Create folders by topic

Create folders by course, project, or purpose. Give the document a clear name and move it to the appropriate location; if you need to keep the original, make a copy first.

Step-by-step guides:

Quickly find frequently used notes

Add frequently used documents to your favorites to reduce repeated searching. You can also sort by date, name or type, filter by type, or drag files under Custom Sort to adjust the order.

Step-by-step guides:

Distinguish between file names and in-text search

Library search looks for document names and are suitable for finding a course, a project, or a known note. Giving your document a clear name will make it easier to find it.

To find content in the text, you need to open the document first and then use the in-text search of the corresponding editor. The search scopes of PDF content, handwriting and text, and Text document body text are different. For details, see Navigation and review.

Step-by-step guides:

Organize multiple documents at once

Batch operations are suitable for moving, duplicating, favoriting, or sharing a group of documents. If you need to keep different versions, you can copy the document and continue to modify it. Review the selection before moving or moving it to the Trash.

Step-by-step guides:

Document Lock and Trash

After adding a lock to a document, you need to unlock it when opening it. Documents accidentally moved to the Trash can be recovered in the Trash; before permanent deletion, you should confirm the original and the copies you need to keep.
