Prodrafts Pro and the free document limit
Prodrafts Pro User benefits apply across the app, regardless of the document type you have open. Available plans, prices, trial eligibility, and terms are shown on the in-app purchase page loaded from the App Store and in Apple's purchase confirmation.
Free document limit and upgrading
The current creation flow prompts you to upgrade when you reach 3 free documents. This limit is checked when creating or importing documents and in some duplication actions. Folders do not count as documents. Moving a document to the Trash does not necessarily free up a slot; do not delete important notes to try to regain free capacity.
You can view the purchase page when prompted, or open Settings → Prodrafts Pro User to check your status and available plans. Individual tools have their own requirements. Follow the relevant guide and the prompts in the app; being able to create a document does not mean every tool is available without limits.
Perfect Shape availability
Perfect Shape, including draw-and-hold recognition, adjustment while holding, and shape snapping, is available to all users. The separate Shape tool has its own access rules; this does not mean all of its object types are free. See Create shapes and adjust their appearance.
View and choose a plan
- Open the Prodrafts Pro User page and wait for the plans and prices to load.
- Compare the annual subscription and one-time purchase, and read each description. These are different purchase options.
- If a free trial is offered, check whether your current Apple Account is eligible and which plan follows the trial. If no trial is shown, do not assume an offer available to someone else also applies to you.
- Choose a plan, then check the amount and terms in Apple's purchase confirmation.
- Wait for your Pro access to update before retrying the restricted action. Canceling Apple's confirmation cancels the purchase. If approval is pending, wait for the decision instead of submitting the purchase repeatedly.
Restore a previous purchase
- Check that you are signed in to the App Store with the account used for the original purchase. Your iCloud account and purchase account serve different purposes.
- Tap Restore Purchases on the purchase page or in Settings → Prodrafts Pro User. Authenticate if asked, then wait for the result.
- After restoration succeeds, check your Pro access and retry the restricted action.
- If no purchases can be restored, check the original purchase option and account. For a network or App Store error, keep the error message and try again once the connection is restored.
Restore Purchases checks for existing purchases; it does not transfer purchases from another account. It does not restore notes. For missing documents, see Recover documents missing from the library.
Manage an existing subscription
Open Settings → Prodrafts Pro User → Manage Subscriptions to open Apple's subscription management page. Check your status and available options there; Apple's page shows the final subscription status.
If you have an annual subscription and later make a one-time purchase, the annual subscription is not canceled automatically. Open Manage Subscriptions and check whether you need to cancel it. For payment or account issues, keep the transaction details and explain the problem through Get help. Do not include passwords or full payment details in your feedback.
