Paged notes and PDFs

Import courseware, papers, or workbooks into Prodrafts to read and annotate on the original page. You can also start with a paper template and record your content page by page.

Start with a template or imported material

Create a new Paged note using the current default paper, and you can change the template later; you can also import PDF to start reading. When adding a page, you can use the current template, choose another template, or add data from pictures, cameras, scans, or files; camera and scan entry points depend on device support.

Step-by-step guides:

Mark important points with handwriting and text

Use a pen to write your thoughts in the margins, a highlighter to emphasize key points, and you can also add text, pictures, and other canvas content. For PDFs that allow you to select text, you can also select the text and add highlighting, underlining, or strikethrough.

Scanned pages may not necessarily have selectable text; such pages can still be directly annotated by hand. For writing tools, see Handwriting and Pen Boxes.

Step-by-step guides:

Organize pages and templates

View and organize entire notes via page thumbnails. The page menu provides operations such as copy, paste, rotate, export, and save as template; when you need more writing space, you can use page expansion.

Step-by-step guides:

Return to the content you need

Use page numbers to jump to specific pages, add bookmarks to frequently viewed pages, or organize chapters with outlines. In-text searches can search by document content, handwriting, and text; results depend on what is readable or recognized on the page.

Navigation tools are covered in Navigation and review.

Step-by-step guides:

Adjust reading and output

Switch between horizontal and vertical browsing according to your reading habits, and adjust page separation, shadows and eye-protection display. Once you've finished annotating, you can export the entire document or selected pages for reading, sharing, or printing.

For the export format, see Import, Export and Sharing.
