Prodrafts Privacy Policy

Prodrafts is a note-taking app developed by EMMO Corp. This policy includes the Google Drive and Dropbox disclosures below and the earlier general privacy terms retained at the end. The specific access, use and control descriptions for each connection take precedence over any broader wording in the earlier terms. For Google user data, the specific protections in the Google Drive section, including the Limited Use commitments, continue to apply in full.

Google Drive: what you choose to connect

Google Drive backup is optional. You can use the note-taking features of Prodrafts without connecting a Google account. This section applies to versions that provide Google Drive backup; availability can vary by app version.

You sign in on Google's authorization screen. Prodrafts does not receive your Google password. We request basic account information and permission to work with specific Drive files used by Prodrafts, rather than permission to read your entire Drive.

Data accessed and its purpose

• Google account information: Google Sign-In provides an account identifier, email address and basic profile information, such as your name and profile image if available. Prodrafts uses the account identifier to associate the connection with the correct account and the email address to show which account is connected. It does not use that profile to build an advertising profile.
• Authorization credentials: Access and refresh tokens let the app carry out backup operations you enable and renew access without repeatedly asking you to sign in.
• Backup content and file information: When you enable automatic backup or initiate a backup, the app uploads eligible Prodrafts documents to the backup location you configure. A native document can contain handwriting, text, PDF files, images, audio, video and other attachments. File and folder names, document metadata, file identifiers, sizes and integrity checks are used to organize and verify backups. Your exclusion settings apply to automatic backup.
• Files available to the app: The Drive permission is https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.file. It covers files created by the app or specifically made available to it. Prodrafts uses it to create and update backups, list authorized backup folders, download files you choose to restore, and attempt to remove temporary connection-test files. It does not provide access to all other files in your Drive.

Where the data is stored and transferred

Backup files are transferred over HTTPS directly between your device and Google Drive. They are stored in your Google account, under Google's storage and privacy settings. This backup connection does not route your document content through an EMMO backup server.

The app keeps the connection information on your device. Authorization credentials are protected by the operating system Keychain and are not included in document backup archives. Local temporary archives and downloaded restore files are cleaned up as part of completing or cancelling their operations. The app uses file metadata and checksums to check transfer integrity; these checks do not make the backup files end-to-end encrypted. Protect access to both your device and your Google account.

Limited use and sharing

Google account and Drive data are used for the sign-in, backup, browsing and recovery features described here. We do not sell that data, use it for advertising or credit decisions, or use it to train general-purpose AI models. This integration does not give our staff a way to browse your Drive or read your notes remotely.

If you separately choose to send a file to support, that is a separate action under your control. Any permitted access or disclosure must remain limited to the requested user-facing service, necessary security handling or applicable legal obligations. The broader disclosure wording in the earlier terms does not authorize additional uses of Google data.

Our handling and transfer of Google API data follow the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. Google's own processing is described in the Google Privacy Policy.

Your controls, retention and deletion

• Turn off automatic backup in Prodrafts to stop future automatic uploads. The connection settings and existing backups are retained, so you can still manage the connection and restore files.
• Disconnect Google Drive in Prodrafts to remove the locally saved connection credentials. Disconnecting does not delete your existing Drive backups.
• Revoke access in your Google Account third-party connections. Future access then requires authorization again.
• Delete cloud backups in Google Drive when you no longer want to retain them. They remain under your account until you delete them, subject to Google's deletion and trash-retention rules. Deleting a local note in Prodrafts does not automatically delete its cloud backup.
• Restore creates a new local copy. Changing the backup location starts backups in the new location and leaves existing files in the old location.

Dropbox: what you choose to connect

Dropbox is an optional cloud backup connection. You can use the note-taking features of Prodrafts without connecting Dropbox. This section applies to versions that provide Dropbox functionality; availability can vary by app version.

You sign in and authorize access on Dropbox's official authorization page. Prodrafts does not receive your Dropbox password. File access is limited to the Prodrafts app folder in your Dropbox account, including its subfolders. This connection does not grant access to the rest of your Dropbox.

Data accessed and its purpose

• Account information: The account identifier and email address identify the connection and show which Dropbox account is connected.
• Authorization credentials: Access and refresh tokens allow Prodrafts to perform the backup, browsing and restore operations you enable or request, and renew access without asking you to sign in each time.
• File information and document content: File and folder names, paths, file identifiers, sizes, versions and integrity information are used to browse, organize, upload, verify and restore backups. When you enable backup, eligible documents are uploaded in their native Prodrafts format. They may contain text, handwriting, PDFs, images, audio, video and other attachments. Your exclusion settings apply to automatic backup. Files you select for restoration are downloaded to your device.
• Connection and backup-location checks: To verify that the selected backup location can be used, Prodrafts creates a temporary test file there, reads it back and checks its contents, then attempts to delete it. The test file contains generated test data, not the contents of your notes. If the connection fails or cleanup cannot finish, a test file may remain in that location.

Where the data is stored and transferred

Backup and restore files travel over HTTPS directly between your device and Dropbox, without passing through an EMMO backup server. Backups are stored in your own Dropbox account, within the Prodrafts app folder and the backup location you choose inside it.

The connection information is stored on your device. Authorization credentials are protected by the operating system Keychain and are not included in document backup archives. HTTPS protects data during transfer, and file checks verify transfer integrity; neither means that these backups are end-to-end encrypted. Protect access to both your device and your Dropbox account.

Your controls, retention and deletion

• Turn off automatic backup in Prodrafts to stop subsequent automatic uploads. The Dropbox connection and existing cloud backups are retained.
• Disconnect Dropbox in Prodrafts to clear the locally saved connection credentials. This does not delete existing backups in Dropbox.
• Revoke authorization in your Dropbox account settings. Open the Apps section, choose Prodrafts and disconnect it, following Dropbox's official instructions for managing connected apps. Further access requires authorization again.
• Delete backups in Dropbox when you no longer want to keep them. Turning off backup, disconnecting, revoking authorization or deleting a local note does not automatically remove existing cloud backups. Their retention and deletion are subject to your actions and Dropbox's own policies; Prodrafts does not promise a separate fixed retention period.
• Change the backup location to use another folder within the app folder. Existing backups in the previous location remain there. Later successful uploads to the same full path and file name can replace an earlier backup, so this feature does not promise a history of every edit.
• Restore a backup to create a new local copy. Restoration does not overwrite an existing local note or delete the cloud backup.

Dropbox's processing and how to contact us

Dropbox processes your account information and data stored in its service under its own Dropbox Privacy Policy. The permissions and controls described here apply to the Prodrafts connection; they do not replace Dropbox's policies. Google's permissions and Limited Use requirements remain specific to the Google connection.

For questions about Prodrafts data handling or these controls, contact prodrafts@163.com. If you separately choose to send a document to support, that is a separate action under your control. Check its contents and recipient first, and never send passwords or authorization tokens.

• 文件信息和文稿内容： 文件名、文件夹、路径、文件标识、大小、版本及校验信息用于浏览、整理、上传、验证和恢复备份。启用备份后，符合设置的文稿会以 Prodrafts 原格式上传，可能包含正文、笔迹、PDF、图片、音视频及其他附件。排除设置会用于筛选自动备份内容；你选择恢复的文件会下载到设备上。
• 连接与备份位置验证： 为确认所选备份位置可用，Prodrafts 会在那里创建临时测试文件，读回并校验内容，然后尝试删除。测试文件使用生成的测试数据，不包含笔记内容。若连接失败或清理未能完成，测试文件可能留在该位置。

• 在 Dropbox 中删除备份： 不再需要的云端备份由你在 Dropbox 中自行删除。关闭备份、断开连接、撤销授权或在本地删除文稿，都不会自动删除已有云端备份。保留和删除取决于你的操作及 Dropbox 自身政策，Prodrafts 不另行承诺固定的云端保留期限。
• 更换备份位置： 可以改用应用文件夹内的其他文件夹，旧位置的备份仍会保留。后续成功上传到相同完整路径和文件名的备份可能覆盖旧文件，因此本功能不承诺保留每次编辑的历史版本。
• 恢复备份： 创建新的本地副本，不覆盖已有本地笔记，也不删除云端备份。

Dropbox 的处理规则与联系我们

Dropbox 按其自身的 Dropbox 隐私政策处理账号信息和保存在其服务中的数据。本节说明的是 Prodrafts 连接的权限和控制方式，不替代 Dropbox 的政策。Google 专属权限与 Limited Use 要求仍仅适用于 Google 连接。

Earlier general privacy terms

The general terms below were last updated in July 2022 and are retained for continuity. The Google Drive disclosures were added on October 23, 2026; the Dropbox disclosures were added on October 29, 2026. For connected-backup data, the specific descriptions above take precedence over broader wording in these earlier terms, without reducing the protections for Google user data.

Introduction

Prodrafts is a registered product developed by EMMO and dedicated to protecting and respecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy (or the "Policy") sets the basis for any data and information collected by us from you during your use of EMMO Products linked to any other products or services in these Terms. And all of the features Prodrafts provides (collectively, "Services").

In order to provide you with more accurate and personalized services, the application will use and disclose your personal information in accordance with the provisions of this privacy policy. However, the application will treat such information with a high degree of diligence and prudence. Unless otherwise provided in this privacy policy, the application will not disclose or provide such information to any third party without your prior permission. This application will update this privacy policy from time to time. By agreeing to this application service usage agreement, you are deemed to have agreed to all contents of this privacy policy. This privacy policy is an integral part of the application service usage agreement.

1. Scope of application

• (a)When you use the application service, the application automatically receives and records the information of your browser and computer, including but not limited to your IP address, type of browser, language used, date and time of access, software and hardware characteristic information and webpage record required by you;

You understand and agree that the following information does not apply to this privacy policy:

• (b)The keyword information you enter when using the search service provided by the application platform.

• (c)The information and data collected by the application that you publish in the application, including but not limited to participation activities, transaction information and evaluation details.

• (d)Act in violation of the law or the rules of the application and the action taken against you by the application.

2.Use the information

• (a)This application won't come to any irrelevant third party to provide, sell, rent, share or trade your personal information, unless get your permission in advance, or the third party and the application of this application (including affiliates) alone or together to provide the service for you, and at the end of the service, it will be banned from access to be able to access all the information including its before.

• (b)The application also does not allow any third party to collect, edit, sell or distribute your personal information for free by any means. If any user of the application platform engages in the above activities, the application shall have the right to immediately terminate the service agreement with such user upon discovery.

3.Information disclosure

Under the following circumstances, the application will disclose all or part of your personal information according to your personal wishes or laws:

• (a)Disclosure to a third party with your prior consent.

• (b)Disclosure to a third party or an administrative or judicial institution in accordance with the relevant provisions of law or at the request of an administrative or judicial institution.

• (c)If you violate relevant laws, regulations or the application service agreement or relevant rules, you need to disclose to a third party.

• (d)If you are a qualified intellectual property complainant and have filed a complaint, disclose it to the respondent at the request of the respondent so that the parties may settle a possible rights dispute.

• (e)Other disclosures that the application deems appropriate in accordance with laws, regulations or website policies.

4.Changes to this privacy policy

• (a)If we decide to change our privacy policy, we will publish these changes in this policy and where we think appropriate so that you know how we collect and use your personal information, who has access to it, and under what circumstances we disclose it.

Party b discloses its personal information, such as contact information or postal address. Please protect your personal information properly and only provide it to others if necessary. If you find your personal information leaking, especially the user name and password of this application, please contact the customer service of this application immediately, so that the application can take corresponding measures.
