Prodrafts + Google Drive

Prodrafts is a note-taking app for iPad, iPhone and Mac, developed by EMMO Corp. Optional Google Drive backup keeps a copy of your native Prodrafts documents in your own Google account, so you can browse and restore an editable copy when needed.

What the connection does

In versions with Google Drive backup, select Google Drive in the automatic-backup settings and then use the account sign-in action. Google asks you to approve access to the specific Drive files used by Prodrafts. Connecting an account alone does not turn on automatic backup.

When you enable backup, eligible documents are uploaded in their original .prodrafts format to your configured backup folder. The app can list authorized backups and download a file you choose to restore. Restore creates a new local copy. This is one-way backup; editing a file in Drive does not automatically update a note in Prodrafts.

Feature availability depends on the app version. An older release may not yet include the Google Drive option.

Why Google permissions are requested

• Basic account information identifies the connected account.
• The drive.file permission lets Prodrafts create and update its backup files, browse authorized folders and download backups for recovery. It does not let Prodrafts browse your entire Drive.
• Authorization credentials keep the connection usable without asking you to sign in for every upload. Credentials are protected in the device Keychain; your Google password is not shared with Prodrafts.

Backup files travel directly between your device and Google Drive. Read the Privacy Policy for the data types, purposes, storage, retention, deletion and Limited Use commitments.

Keep control of the connection

You can turn off automatic backup, disconnect the account, or revoke access in Google Account settings. Existing Drive backups remain until you delete them in Drive. Removing a local note does not automatically remove its cloud backup.

在提供该功能的版本中，先选择 Google Drive，再点击账号区域登录并授权；登录不会自动开启备份。开启后，符合设置的文稿会保存到指定位置。权限只覆盖应用创建或你授权给它的特定文件，不读取整个网盘。

备份由设备直接上传到 Google Drive。你可以关闭自动备份、断开连接或在 Google 账号撤销授权；旧备份会保留，需要自行在网盘中删除。本功能是单向备份，网盘中的编辑不会自动写回笔记。
